What It Takes In Developing A Photographic Memory

By Charles Meyer

You might have bumped into this article by accident and you are probably wondering it is even possible to develop a photographic memory in the first place. Whether it is actually possible or not largely depends on what you understand by it. The process of developing a photographic memory is not often easy, but with sufficient training, it is possible to your memories by leaps and bounds.

Other than the photographic memory, there is the eidetic memory which describes those with the ability to recall the sounds, objects and even images with just a few moments after being exposed to them. Whether your target is to develop the ability to recall images after a short initial exposure or the ability to recall sounds, objects in addition to images, there is only one way, training.

You must have been told so many things and steps taken in developing this ability. In a real sense, there are only three ways in which you can develop this ability. These are the genetics, lifestyle and the training. There is nothing you can do about genetics, in fact, only a few of us, less than 0.0001% percent of us have it.

Genetics is the first factor. Our brain capacity is affected by our genetics, and there is no much doubt about this. Just like an elephant is said to have better capacity to recall past events, particularly the grief as compared to other animals, we also differ in our ability to recall events and images. If you are born with this ability, you are lucky, but the rest of us will have to rely on lifelong training and the lifestyle as a whole to get closer to those who have it naturally.

There are several things that can be done to change our lifestyle, but all of these come down to one thing-healthy living. In regards to this, you are required to get a good amount of healthy living. This allows the brain to reboot. This gives the brain a better chance to consolidate, process and store the information while discarding anything that is not important.

Mediation is the second most important aspect in the lifestyle factors and is incorporated into all programs. It helps slow down your brains processing speed and train the brain in a particular manner and should be a routine life aspect.

Proper diet must be also be incorporated in the whole plan. There must be a balanced diet that targets to nourish your brain. In addition to a well balanced diet, there is a need to incorporate herbs, vitamins and other minerals that enhance the brain development.

The other important aspect in lifestyle is the physical exercise. Exercising helps increase the rate of blood circulation which in turn increases the amount of oxygen in the brain. The exercise can be aerobics like running or just the lifting. All have significant impact in improving circulation.

Given that most programs are sold in audios, videos or other forms of records, they are often cost effective way and the long-term reward justifies the expenditure. However, even with this, you should not be afraid to return the program that is not effective and ask to be refunded your money back within the agreed period of time.
